It is undeniable that the policy of free returns can serve as a powerful incentive for customers to make direct purchases. However, Waldgang invites a critical reflection on this matter. This practice, which has proliferated in the last ten years with the expansion of the e-commerce industry, has become emblematic of an era marked by consumerism and waste. In contrast to this trend, Waldgang is committed to crafting products that are meant to stand the test of time, superior quality items intended to be inherited by future generations, to withstand any challenge and suitable for customisation, repairs and reuse. Our philosophy is not to produce items that shackle consumers to a perpetual cycle of buying and returning, but rather to forge goods that can become companions in a life enriched with experiences and discoveries.

The return of any product amplifies its environmental burden by doubling the carbon emissions associated with its lifecycle. However, in our tailored production approach, where items are crafted exclusively upon customer demand, the carbon footprint of a product is effectively zero prior to its purchase.


You can exercise the right of withdrawal, therefore deciding to return the item without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days of delivery. Please notify the withdrawal by sending an e-mail to the following address info@waldgang.eu with the subject “Waldgang Withdrawal”.

We remind you that in case of withdrawal the costs for returning the item are at your expense. The related expenses provide:

  • packaging and shipping; 
  • a penalty in the amount of EUR (five hundred) 450,00 (“Waldgang Light Industry”) that will be taken from the amount to be refunded.   

Should your request for return be approved, you will have 10 days to return and send the product packaged as it was received to protect it during transportation. You must document the packaging and any existing damage before shipping and share it with Waldgang.

In the event of damages caused by not packaging the items as instructed by Waldgang, refunds will be reduced, adjusted or canceled according to the damages and decreased value of the products.

In the event that you do not ship the product within the agreed time, the return procedure will be canceled automatically.

Should your request for return not be approved, you will have the opportunity to open a dispute through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR).

Waldgang is not required to refund or replace an order if you refuse to return the item, unless you have agreed otherwise with the seller.


The right of withdrawal can be exercised in relation to any product purchased on Waldgang, with the exception of:

  • items made to measure, made on order, clearly personalized or that may deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • sealed items that do not lend themselves to being returned for hygienic reasons or related to health protection and that have been opened after delivery;
  • items that result, after delivery, to be inseparably mixed with other goods.


If you withdraw within 14 days of delivery, you will be reimbursed the price paid for the item with the exception of the Waldgang Light Industry’s Penalty. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

If the returned items show damage or signs of wear resulting from manipulation that is not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the same, Waldgang can withhold an amount corresponding to their decrease in value from the refund.


The reimbursement of the price of the item for which the withdrawal was exercised, is made within 30 (thirty) days of receipt of the product.

If you have purchased a defective or non-compliant item, either from the description on the site, you are entitled, without incurring any expense, to have the defective product refunded, repaired or replaced. In this case you will have to follow the return procedure, indicating the reasons and providing images.You will have to provide reasons and detailed images to accompany your request.

Note: rejecting a delivery does not mean returning the product; in case of a refused delivery, it may not be possible to provide for a refund.

To begin the refund procedure for an item contact us via mail at info@waldgang.eu. Please provide reasons and detailed images to accompany your request.

If the request is approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and the refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase.

If the request is not approved, the refund procedure ends and you will have the opportunity to open a dispute through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR).
